Stata 1

On a recent trip to Charlie's, my fortune cookie contained some particularly important advice.

"Students who do their homework get higher grades."

The slip of paper also provided me with five lucky numbers: 15, 89, 45, 39, and 54. I studied these numbers by making them into a bar chart. I also calculated their sample mean and sample standard deviation. The next time I ate at Charlie's, my lucky numbers were 2, 23, 10, 15, and 65. I repeated the earlier analysis to see if my lucky numbers were showing any meaningful changes. I even tried a scatterplot to study my numbers.

Your assignment is to pick two sets of lucky numbers. Using Stata, conduct an analysis similar to the one described here. Turn in your results as soon as possible.

To help you gt started, I directed, produced, and starred in Stata: The Movie. I produced two sequels: Running Stata from Citrix and Using Saved Data.
